Imagine scooting around your favourite street on a machine that maneuvers with ease and feels like riding a breeze. As you waltz between its 3 speed modes and cruise around smooth and bumpy roads without telling the difference, the passers by would want to be you — it’s not their fault. As an alternative mode of transportation or simply a leisure ride, getting around campus or making an eco-friendly statement, this little beast is an all-round e-scooter that handles inclines and bumpy surfaces like a champ.
Riding a BREEZE
If you’re looking for a comfortable and comprehensive electric scooter that is both solid in form and simple in feel, this is it. As compact as it can get, Digimmi SCOOT is an object of envy for most of its peers — thanks to its unique Urban SUV patented design.
Ergonomic Design
Tall, strong, & sturdy, SCOOT is a ride to drool over. Made with aviation standard aluminium alloy and powered with a quiet 350W motor, it can reach 25 km/h (19 mph) speed, travel up to 20 km maximum range, and accommodate a max load of 120 kg (260 lbs). With 3 speed modes, it’s easy to learn for newbies and a lot of fun for Pros.
On the Deck
The spacious deck is enough for most shoe-sizes unless you wear a 13+. The deck features 18-inches by 5.8-inches of standing space and has 4-inches of ground clearance. Made of premium silicone material, the deck gives a comfortable grip and is wear-resistant.
Zen-wheels
A big plus is its pneumatic 8.5 inch wheels with ultimate shock absorption effect so you get the benefit of riding on air. Plus they’re also tubeless means — minimal chances of getting a flat. Specifically made to not only grip the road and tackle terrain, you can say, Scoot is tirelessly yours (pun intended).
Removable Battery
One of our favourite Pros, you can now remove the battery from the scooter to charge and if you’re leaving the Scoot somewhere deserted, you just have to carry the battery to minimise the risk of theft. Plus you can carry an extra battery and swap it while going the distance. Quick 3 hours charging time gives you 25 km travel. Way to go!
Braking Good
With a triple independent breaking mechanism — electronic brake, disc brake, & foot brake, you can zoom past and slow down with ease. A hand lever controls the electronic and disc brake simultaneously.
Let there be Light
Digimmi X8 comes equipped with both front and rear built-in LED lights. The taillight flashes in sync with any of the three brakes.
High-definition LCD Screen
The cockpit features an IP54 waterproof digital speedometer to keep you aware on the go. Simple controls for mode, lights, battery level, and changing the P-settings.
Folds like a charm
Its sturdy stem folds in a flash and is quite handy to load to your car or bring on the public transit when you’re travelling. Once the handlebars are pulled out and the front wheels are put, you’re there. Just under 30 pounds (12kg), you can hold Scoot with a little strength.
Unboxing
Unboxing and assembly process is a piece of cake. Inside the box, you’ll find a charger, an instruction manual, and a foldable electric scooter for adults. Outside the box—with minimal set up—you can assemble SCOOT in a matter of minutes. Twist on the handle bars, secure the brakes with the provided hex key and off you go. Comes with a loud little bell.
Best Bang for Your Buck
Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable electric scooter that’s fun to ride and takes you places, Digimmi SCOOT is your wheels-to-be.
I could not wait to get this scooter once I purchased it. Came exactly when said(4 days)Only took 5 min to install handle bar. Had to push with foot 50ft or so to get going, but when it did, I am very happy
My Toy!!!!!
This definitely is worth the purchase I’ve beaten this thing a lot but yet it still stands
Great value for your moneyPerfectAs described
This scooter works very well, but the amount of battery is few. I suggest you buy external battery if you need a longer transportation distance. Nevertheless, it is still a good vehicle to commute.
Its very easy to operate
Before electric scooters became so ever popular, I was one of the very first ones who owned one riding the streets of San Francisco and people turning their heads blurting out, “what’s that?”. Over the years I owned electric scooters one after the other broke and this one is my fifth. The first one is still working though but it can be considered vintage as it is made of aluminum and somewhat heavy. The rest broke and the main problem is electronics while their batteries are still in good condition that is why having owned 5 electric scooters already my only bad comment on this scooter is: They should have put a shock absorber at least on the front to protect the electronics or the controller from shock that can lead to its malfunction. That’s all.
the scooter is really good for the price especially on a discount, its quick enough(13 mph-21kpm), miles may very because if you want to accelerate fast and use it in sport mode you will be making around 10 miles per charge. if you live in a small city, or your commute to work is really short i wil be great
I’ve always been skeptical of these scooters. Never thought they were worth it and always thought they were a fad on the verge of oblivion. I was wrong. I’m 34 years old, 6’2 and 210 pounds. But when I ride this it’s like I’m a little kid again. It’s so much fun. It isn’t the fastest or the most powerful scooter, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s advertised to go 12 mph and I’d say that’s pretty accurate, even at my size. Comes with a charger and instructions, there an app for iOS and Android. It’s very intuitive to use the scooter, the app not so much. A single charge will provide quite a bit of entertainment. I’ve ridden it all over my neighborhood and to the 7-11 and CVS down the street. The only problem is my wife steals it because it’s so much fun. Going to order a second one or perhaps look at some of the other Segway offerings.
We have multiple scooters from Segway, Xoami, and GoTrax. For $350 prime day deal, you aren’t beating this scooter. Its tough as nails and really good build quality. My 8 year old rides it and loves it. For kids, don’t waste your money on the others that only go 6 miles per charge. For the adults, budget $80 to add a used battery pack off eBay to pick up some extra range and 3mph on the top speed.
First, this scooter has good battery performance, Second, even riding on grass and uneven ground, the speed and stability still perform well, Also , it has a headlight, and when braking, the rear wheel lights will also work. It increases the safety of night use.
I use to commute 2 miles to work each way. Not the most powerful thing in the world but easily gets up to 13 miles an hour once you get it going and I carry it up to my office without much difficulty every day.I think it’s a great scooter for the priceIt feels like a very solidly built device.
I love that scooter it is fun to ride it’s a good purchase as soon as my daughter is old enough for big enough see what she’ll ride it it’s a little heavy but that means it’s well built to carry it up the stairs you need somebody with some strength but it is absolutely well built perfect machine
Very good for its capacity and price, like the sleek board design, 1 improvement , there is scratch surface after fold down, perhaps something to improve.
I bought the E22 and fastest speed was 13 mph, though the app said it was 14 mph. I later bought the external battery and it doubled my range and my speed went up to 16 mph on the display, but the app says I’m going 19.5 mph. Gotta say, I believe the 19.5 speed. I was going as fast as the scooters I used to rent before I bought this one. For context, I ride on flat roads and weigh 160. The reason I bought the E22 instead of the E45 was the weight. The E22 is much lighter for carrying and the external battery definitely doesn’t weigh more than two or three pounds. If you’re hesitating getting this one because it seems too slow, just get the external battery and it’s plenty fast enough.
Impressions:Assembly:Less than 5 minutes start to finish.Charging:The initial charge you complete will likely take between 2-3 hours, depending on just how full the battery is on arrival.App:Very simple to download and pairs via Bluetooth. It’s a simple app, but information is plentiful and useful.Lights:The front light is good enough to be seen with, but it’s not quite ideal to see with. I’d recommend wearing an additional front light if riding after dark. The rear taillights are very well done and you’ll easily be seen.Speed:I’m 198 pounds and usually use this while wearing a bookbag with 15-20 pounds of gear in it. I’ve had no issues hitting 12+ mph for long distances.Distance on a charge:As I mentioned above, with gear, I’m using this at between 215-220 pounds. I average 12.75 miles on a charge.Hill climbing:This does very well on anything below a 6% grade. Above that, it bogs down a bit.Weight of the unit, folding and carrying:It’s 28 pounds, but it doesn’t really feel like that. It folds easily. I grocery shop and run into the office with this thing, daily, and it’s absolutely no trouble to briefly carry.Overall:The build quality, battery, speed, distance on a charge, and more, makes this a 5 star electric scooter. I’m extremely pleased with it. In fact, as I stated above, I use it nearly daily.Highly recommended5 starsCheers!
Purchased this for my wife and I purchased a Brookstone model for myself. I’ve been very impressed with the battery life and power in this unit. I am 6’2″ 205 lbs and this easily carries me around at ~15MPH. If you think you need something faster, I would recommend you try a rental model to confirm because 15-16MPH is plenty fast for getting around. Her battery lasts much longer than mine due to the regenerative braking feature. Highly recommend this as an alternative to Lime, Bird, etc. rentals. Have only been using for a few weeks so I can update other features later.
What at Fantastic product!! It’s sturday and feels safe. It’s easy to maneuver and ride. It comes pretty much put together. All you need to do is charge it and ride it!!!
Got this for our 14 year old. He loves it. The battery life is really good and it goes great on the hills we have around here. He is 5’7” 170lb and it moves him all over town great.
I like the scooter.
Love my scooter!! Best thing I purchased in 2020 my own gift to myself. Came a day early super easy to set up. And it really takes off. You can adjust the speed by double pressing button to sport mode. Honestly it goes fast enough I use for recreational, I just bought a lock so I can run a few errands near by. Five stars so far
I’m very satisfied with this product. It is everything advertised. Very high quality build. It climbs very steep hills at a double walking rate. Normal hills about 9mph. I haven’t figured out a way to change Km/h to mph yet. It came half charged.
This was purchased for a grandson. He loves it. I cannot rate on the three you asked about. I know it is heavyweight and I am happy about that. I definitely would recommend it. It was worth the money to see my grandson on it. I am 76 and think I will give it a try when I see him again.
This is a quality scooter like the ones you’d find for rent in metropolitan areas. This one isn’t quite as fast as those but it’s not meant to be. It’s for people new to these. It’s got a great range and for me it’s speed is more than adequate and I am at the top end of its 220lb weight limit.
I did not expect to enjoy this scooter so much. It’s got great acceleration as well as top speed for a satisfying ride whether it’s for leisure or for a short commute. The headlight and taillights work perfectly, which makes me feel safe riding it at night. It’s also really easy to get a hang of especially if you’ve written even a basic little children’s scooter like I did when I was young, so picking it up and riding it was intuitive for me. Also, even though I’m heavier than the weight limit, the scooter had no issue handling it. Although, when I was pulling my girlfriend while she was rollerblading, the scooter did struggle with our combined weight and the acceleration decreased, and I believe the range drained faster too, so keep that in mind if you’re on the heavier side. Some of the drawbacks for me were the app Bluetooth connectivity. It seemed like it was pretty easy to lose the Bluetooth connection. The range felt like it was 10ft max before you couldn’t be connected to the Bluetooth. Not a big deal but kind of annoying having to reconnect any time you step away for even a bit.
At first it wasn’t connecting to my phone after so many tries it finally connected. Great scooter for an adult.
Much better than the es1,2,3,4 line don’t pay attention to any bad reviews of Those this ones has completely different controller wire connections etc and is super reliable and without the suspension it’s even better because the tires are soft and it doesn’t squeak love it
The products are nice! Never heard about this particular brand, but I know there manufacturer have a good product reputation, so I took a gamble/risk.The ninebots climb hills moderately, not superb or great, just moderate. It’s a great investment, worth every dollar, speed is great, range in distance is ok. I love them, I bought two. The only problem I have is that the torso(upright bar)is a easily scratched product, otherwise i give it a A- .
My neighbor brought to my house
This scooter was super easy to put together. We have a blast riding around the neighborhood. Battery life seems to be good. No complaints and great product!
Scooters are all over the place nowadays, and price ranges from just a $100 to north of $1k. The former are pure junk, or just for kids, the latter for hardcore long-range hilly road riders. The Ninebot E22 perfectly fit in the middle in terms of price, range, speed and durability. You cannot go wrong in making this your very first scooter purchase.
Not bad at all. I’m 146 pounds up hills no problem. Good enough speed for me. And im a speed guy. But older now
